Compare / Contrast Film's Messages
Crime, gangster, family drama, and violence are the messages from the movie “The Godfather” is clearly expressed through the whole film. On the other hand, “The Maltese Falcon” delivered Mystery, detective, and crime messages to the audience. Crimes & violence were the similar elements these two movies used. They both delivered the negative messages between the human relationships, which mean violence is always around us. The messages delivered by “The Godfather” are straight forward and clearly shows what “responsibility” is and how strong a father and son relationship should be. On the other hand, “The Maltese Falcon” is sending messages about betrayal between humans. Trust between human is a mystery.
